Sales entity

Intellectual property

• All designs on the website of "Helena Piepers" are owned by "Helena Piepers". These designs may not be copied, reproduced, modified or resold.

How to order a product?

• Discover the website and click on a product to get more info.
• Click "shop" to go to the webshop, and on the "add to cart" button to add an item in your shopping cart. Of course you can add several articles.
• Click at the top right to view your shopping cart. Here you will find the full order, check it thoroughly. Here you can adjust or possibly delete the desired quantity of items.
• When you have checked the order, go to the "check out" to proceed to the payment of the items you have selected. Here you can also select your payment method.
• The shop automatically connects you to Shopify's payment system. Here you can complete your payment by bank card, credit card or via PayPal account. Choose your payment method.
• Enter the address details to which your order must be shipped.

Order products

• The customer can purchase various jewelry online.
• When the customer has clicked on the "order button", the purchase is made. The customer will then receive a confirmation email from "Helena Piepers". If you do not receive the e-mail, please contact us via our contact page.
• The ordered items are delivered to the address you entered, including the address that you can find in the confirmation email.
• The customer can choose between the following payment methods. Via credit card, bank card or PayPal account.

• All our jewelry is manufactured with the utmost care and expertise in our own workshop with the highest quality materials

 General

• "Helena Piepers" reserves the right to take or refuse orders. Upon request, the customer will be informed of the reason for refusal. 
• "Helena Piepers" does not allow orders from minors. If a minor still wishes to make a purchase via the webshop, it will be placed and paid for by an adult guardian.
• From the moment "Helena Piepers" receives a confirmation of your order and payment via the website, there is a valid agreement between you and "Helena Piepers". When the order is placed you will receive an e-mail with an order number. This email is an observation and not equal to a confirmation of your order. An agreement for the purchase of goods will not be made until your payment has been confirmed and the money is in our account.
• "Helena Piepers" can break the valid agreement if, for example, orders were placed by minors, when the order is not complete or incorrect, or when previous orders were not paid.

Range of products

• Each product offered by "Helena Piepers" is described in detail. Prices and any offers are valid on the day when they are offered on the website.
• It is possible that the ordered jewel differs slightly from the photo on the webshop. This difference is not accepted as a reason for return, because all the jewels of "Helena Piepers" are handmade and therefore can never be an exact copy of the photo on the webshop.

 Prices and invoice

• The prices as shown on the website are also the prices used when placing an order by a customer. The prices quoted are expressed in Euro, include 21% VAT  and any administrative costs, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
• The prices do not include shipping costs. The shipping costs are calculated separately and are charged to the customer on top of the purchase price.
• "Helena Piepers" has the right to change prices. "Helena Piepers" cannot be held liable for any (printing) errors that may occur in offers.
• The prices of the jewels fluctuate because the gold and silver often fall or rise in value. The customer pays the price displayed at the time of the order.
• A customer can have a quotation drawn up, it has a validity period of 30 days. Prices or other items that are applied internally will be charged by "Helena Piepers" after the expiry of this quotation.
• The products remain the property of "Helena Piepers" until they have been paid in full by the customer. This means the full payment, the purchase price plus the cost.
• Invoices shall be transmitted in electronic form.

Packaging

• Each jewel comes with an accompanying stylish packaging, which can serve as gift packaging.

Liability

• "Helena Piepers" cannot be held liable for the consequences of incorrect data entry by the customer. As a customer, you are also responsible for all shipments of "Helena Piepers" that arrive at the delivery address you specify. If the address is changed, please inform us as soon as possible, so that miscommunication can be avoided.
• If there are complaints about visible defects of the order, these must be reported in writing within three days of receipt of the order. The order, in this case, the jewels must be returned to "Helena pagers" unworn. If these conditions are not respected, the complaint will be considered inadmissible.
• "Helena Piepers" cannot be held liable for complaints caused by a shortage of stock or by a later delivery caused by force majeure.
• When "Helena Piepers" is prevented from complying with the agreement due to circumstances beyond our will ( such as incorrect communication of the customer, theft, an unforeseen breakage of stones in the event of non-erroneous treatment,...) "Helena Piepers" is exempted from the obligations. We will therefore not be held responsible for this after we have informed the customer in writing of the force majeure.

Right of withdrawal

• Each jewel made by "Helena Piepers" is unique and can be adjusted in terms of size and color at the request of the customer. Custom-made jewelry cannot be exchanged, there is no right of withdrawal on customization. By paying an advance, the customer agrees to the order of the custom work.  Once ordered and when the advance has been paid, the customization can no longer be cancelled.

 Return policy

• Helena Piepers uses a limited return policy.
• You can return your purchased products within 14 days, from the date of delivery, unless it concerns a personalized item. The return right expires with personalized items, when the jewelry is custom made there is no right of return. Is there really a problem? Please contact us via the contact page.
• If 14 days have passed since the delivery of your purchase, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund.
• To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:
  • Being unused
  • The jewels must not show any signs of use. (scratches, wear, tear, ...) We check that thoroughly.
  • They must be in the same condition you received them in.
  • Labels or certificates must be in perfect condition.
  • It must be returned in its original packaging. (original box incl. possible certificates)
• What do we mean by personalized items? for example, a ring specifically tailored to your needs, an engraving in a jewel, jewel with stamps of your choice, a jewel composed to measure (with stones / design of your choice) cannot be returned or exchanged. Is there really a problem? Then we try to find the right solution together.
• In case of damage, contact us within 48 hours of receiving your items and we will look for a solution.
• Please contact us via the contact page for a return request.

Once your return has been received and checked, we will send you an email to inform you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of your refund.

• If the returned items meet the predetermined conditions, your refund will be processed within a certain number of days. This depends on your bank or payment choice (e.g. PayPal, Credit Card...).

Warranty

• For every jewel made by "Helena Piepers" you will receive a legal warranty of 2 years. This warranty is only valid if the damage has arisen as a result of hidden defects or construction defects on the product in question. The repair or exchange of the product is therefore at the expense of Helena Piepers.
• The (commercial and/or legal) warranty never applies to defects that arise as a result of accidents, neglect, falls, use of the article contrary to the purpose for which it was designed, modifications or modifications to the article, poor maintenance, or any other abnormal or incorrect use. In that case, the repair will be passed on to the customer, if desired.
• Each jewel is provided with a master stamp and content stamp.

Adjusting the size when the size is self-measured

• It is not easy to measure a size of a jewel. Sizes may vary depending on the design, shape of the jewel. Therefore, it is not ideal to measure a ring size yourself with your own tools. Very often there are differences. 
• If you are very sure of the size and still like to order a custom-made jewel online, this is of course no problem. But if the measure turns out to be incorrect, "Helena Piepers" cannot be held liable. "Helena Piepers" can adjust the size afterwards, but depending on the jewel, an additional cost will be charged.

Maintenance

• Be gentle. If you notice that your golden jewel is losing its shine, immerse it in a bowl of water with a little neutral washing-up liquid. Gently clean with a soft toothbrush and rinse thoroughly. Lastly, polish the jewel with a soft cloth.
• Do not wear jewelry when they come into contact with chemical agents, chlorine, seawater,...
• Store your jewelry separately, in a dry, dark place with preference in the supplied box.
• Gold-plated jewels are silver jewels covered with a layer of gold. This layer can wear out due to friction with the body, clothing,..  You can always bring back gilded jewels from "Helena Piepers" for a new gilding.  Since wear is not covered by warranty, a new gilding is also not covered by warranty.
• In a nutshell, take care of your precious jewelry.
